RPi Exhaust Static Noise Test
So today we did the static noise tests on the RPi Exhaust:
At 6000 rpm @ 1M we hit 100.2 dBa but it maxed out at 102.1 when I lifted and the exhaust popped and crackled a bit.

RPi Exhaust Fitted!
Removing the old exhaust was not so bad just a couple of rusted bolts that needed persuading. Fitting the RPi exhaust was a joy, it fit perfectly and had a lot more space to work in.
Half Done, heres a photo for comparison
Weight Saving = 12Kg total
OEM = 12Kg (Each x 2) = 24Kg Total
RPi = 6Kg (Each x 2) = 12Kg Total
Yes it is very loud perfect for our race car! A few nice gurgles on the over run too :)
As they say if it’s too loud you're too old!
Noise Test & Video to follow..

Bring on the noise! RPi Exhaust is here..
As part of our weight loss program we have gone for a Axle Back RPi exhaust, so the Z4M should sound a lot louder like the animal it is. Plus apparently there will be a few wHp power gain too!
For now we have done a static noise test on the OEM exhaust so we can compare once this new one is fitted:
First impressions, its very well made and a quality piece of kit..
